Building a Green Future

Solar power has the potential to dramatically redefine the future of electrical energy. However, the solar industry is still relatively new and is working to develop new manufacturing techniques and establish large scale manufacturing capacity necessary to produce low cost solar cells. 

 

Even though significant investments have been made, the solar industry still requires massive new investments to create much-needed solar cell manufacturing infrastructure. Without government subsidies, solar power still cannot compete effectively with conventional sources of electrical energy.

 

For solar power to become an effective competitor, a more efficient solar manufacturing process must be implemented – a process that does not sacrifice solar cell efficiencies as manufacturing systems increase in size.
